LOS ANGELES (CBS) The Los Angeles Lakers will sign power forward Antawn Jamison, according to a report by ESPN.

The 36-year-old, who averaged 17.2 points and 6.3 rebounds last season for the Cavaliers, will sign a one-year deal for the veterans minimum.

Jamison played one season under current Lakers coach Mike Brown in Cleveland and is expected to add some depth to the bench.

Brooklyn, Golden State and Charlotte were among other teams trying to acquire Jamison.
