WINNETKA (CBS) — A missing a 13-year-old girl has been found safe in the San Fernando Valley, police said Wednesday morning.

Valae Zonora was last seen at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday walking on Cohasset Street between Oso and Mason avenues, Los Angeles police said.

Officials say a fight with her mother prompted the girl to leave.

Zonora suffers from a mental impairment and reportedly has the mental capacity of a 9-year-old, according to authorities.

The teen was found around 6:30 a.m. and escorted home by officers.

Officials did not say where the girl was found.
