Report: Grant Hill To Join Los Angeles Clippers

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Free agent forward Grant Hill has reportedly agreed to a two-year contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Hill, 39, will be the backup small forward behind starter Caron Butler, according to CBSSports.com.

The Lakers were in talks to acquire Hill after Steve Nash joined the team. Hill was convinced to join the Clippers after meeting with Coach Vinny Del Negro in Las Vegas, having dinner recently with Chauncey Billups and talking on the phone with Chris Paul, the Los Angeles Times reported.
