SAN FRANCISCO (CBS) — Microsoft unveiled a brand new version of Office in San Francisco Monday.

CEO Steve Ballmer called it the “most ambitious” release of Microsoft Office the company has ever done.

Microsoft Office 15 is expected to respond to touch, as well as keyboard commands, which allows the company to expand the software to the tablets.

A preview edition of a cloud-based Office 365 is immediately available for consumers to try from Microsoft’s website.
