LA Street Food Fest Returns For 3rd Year

Having survived Carmageddon last year, LA Street Food Fest returns Saturday, July 21, to delight local food lovers at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

What began as an idea to promote local small businesses, to create a sense of community and to help establish the city of Los Angeles as a foodie mecca, has now become the world renowned LA Street Food Fest Annual Summer Tasting Event.

The Food Fest is the brainchild of Shawna Dawson and Sonja Rasula, two friends that not only share birthdays-they also share a serious love of street food. To Shawna and Sonja, the LA Street Food Fest is an opportunity to "do a little good" and each event supports at least one local charity such as St. Vincent Meals on Wheels. Shawna and Sonja also help subsidize smaller food vendors to attend the Fest that would otherwise not be able to attend.

The 3rd annual LA Street Food Fest Annual Summer Tasting Event will be held within the famous Rose Bowl and features over 75 Food Trucks, Old School Carts, Restaurants and Chefs. The food is arranged around the field so that attendees to the LA Street Food Fest are able to bring a picnic blanket to relax on smack dab in the middle of the Rose Bowl field. DJ Bianca will be on hand to set the mood just right. Not to mention the not one, but two Singha beer gardens, Tequila tent, Ice Cream social where all the coolest treats are, face painting for the kids, Oh! Snap Photo Booth just for fun and tons more.

The best thing about the LA Street Food Fest (besides all of the delicious food) is that tickets are sold all-inclusive. That means you pay once and you are able to sample from the food trucks, drink from the beer garden and tequila tents, and eat the frozen treats from the Ice Cream Social and so much more all for one low price. No gimmicks and no hassle, just a pure foodie good time.

You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.

All-Inclusive Tickets are priced as follows:
$65 VIP early access 3:00pm-4:30pm
$45 General Admission 5:00pm-9:00pm

If you want to beat the crowds to your favorite Food Trucks, you may consider purchasing a VIP ticket which grants early access to the Fest, a limited amount of tickets are available.
