VAN NUYS (CBS) — A 32-year-old man has been hospitalized after being shot in the face in Van Nuys.
Los Angeles police Sgt. John Cuenca said the shooting at Keswick Street and Van Nuys Boulevard occurred about 2:25 a.m. Sunday.
The victim was seated in a parked car when authorities say a gunman walked up, fired three rounds and fled.
Cuenca said the man was struck once in the face. He was taken to a hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Authorities told CBS2 that they do not believe the shooting is gang-related.
A suspect description was not available.
