Man Wounded In Shooting Outside Liquor Store In Westlake
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police on Saturday were looking for a gunman suspected of shooting a man in front of a liquor store in the Westlake area.
Los Angeles police Sgt. Herb Chang said the shooting in the 1200 block of West Seventh Street occurred about 11:10 p.m. Friday near Witmer Street.
According to Chang, the victim had made a purchase and left the store before being shot several times.
The wounded man ran into the store and collapsed, Chang added. His current condition was not known.
A description of the shooter was unavailable.
