REDONDO BEACH (CBS) — They’re bak — lava!
It’s that time of year again. If you’re Greek — or just like Greek music, drink, food and culture — the South Bay’s Greek Festival this weekend is the place to be. Who can resist gyros, Greek fries, Greek wine and pastries – or the aforementioned baklava?
The festival at St. Katherine’s Greek Church, 722 Knob Hill Avenue, began in 1964. This year’s event runs Friday evening until 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
Admission is $2, seniors $1 and children under 12 are free.
