6 Injured In Highland House Fire

HIGHLAND (CBS) — A fire at a home in San Bernardino County left six people injured.

The fire broke began around 11:30 p.m. Thursday in the 7100 block of Church Avenue, Cal Fire officials said.

The fire burned mainly in the dining room of the home and caused an estimated $100,000 in damages, said officials.

The extent of the residents' injuries is unknown.

Two firefighters also suffered from heat exhaustion and were transported to a local hospital, according to officials. They were treated and have since returned to duty.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
