(KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) — “KNX on Your Corner” is taking an in-depth look at the city of Santa Monica today, July 13 as part of KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO’s periodic look at cities and communities throughout Southern California.

Reports about Santa Monica’s tourism, transportation, politics, economics and hidden gems are the focus of KNX’s primetime programming. Officials and residents connected to the city’s rich history (Santa Monica was incorporated in 1886) and involved with current and future projects will be interviewed throughout the day.

News anchors Dick Helton and Vicky Moore broadcast live from 5:00 – 9:00am at Back on the Beach, a cafe located on the sand at 445 Pacific Coast Highway. Frank Mottek hosts the KNX Business Hour from 1 – 2:00pm and Diane Thompson and Chris Sedens anchor KNX’s afternoon news coverage from 2 – 7:00pm.
