STUDIO CITY  (CBS)— Not only are dogs just a man’s best friend, but now they cover many areas from military jobs, to service dogs, to show biz!

Kate Kelly, from America Comes Alive, stopped by the KCAL 9 studios on Monday to profile many of America’s favorite dogs from the first postal dog  to show biz pooches like Uggie (The Artist) and Bo Obama.

Kelly also discussed canine history from the first dogs in World War II, to the first dog to steal Hollywood and the first dog of the White House.
