Man Sought In Armed Robbery Of Warehouse In Venice Area
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities on Friday released surveillance photos of a man accused of robbing a warehouse store at gunpoint.
Los Angeles police said in a department statement the robbery in the 10100 block of Venice Boulevard occurred around 8:40 p.m. on March 16.
According to the statement, the suspect held a gun to the victim's back and demanded money. Fearing for their safety, the victim removed the money from a safe and into the suspect's bag.
Authorities described the suspect as a black male between the ages of 50 to 60. He is 5'10", weighs between 180 and 190 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
He was seen wearing a black baseball cap, dark blue and gray jacket and black and white Adidas shoes. Police said he used a black steel handgun and was carrying a black tote bag.
