LONG BEACH (CBS) — The body of a 43-year-old Las Vegas man, who had been shot multiple times in the upper body, was found Thursday inside a vehicle in Long Beach, police reported.

Officers were sent to the 1300 block of Temple Avenue at 10:38 a.m. regarding a reported shooting death, according to the Long Beach Police Department. They found the victim, identified as Jasper Dukes, inside a vehicle parked curbside.

Dukes was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspect description was available, and police had not determined whether the killing was gang-related.
