Jurupa Valley Man, 20, Convicted In Rape Of Babysitter
RIVERSIDE (CBS) — A 20-year-old Jurupa Valley man who sexually assaulted a teenager as she was babysitting two young family members was convicted Thursday of rape and other felonies.
Jose Alberto Galvan faces life in prison when he's sentenced Aug. 2 by Riverside County Superior Court Charles Koosed.
An eight-man, four-woman jury deliberated almost a full day before finding Galvan guilty of a forcible rape charge, as well as several other sex counts, along with sentence-enhancing allegations of kidnapping a victim for rape and committing a burglary during a sexual offense.
