SOUTH GATE (CBS) —  One man was shot to death and another was injured Sunday night in South Gate, a sheriff’s deputy said.

The shooting was reported at 7:45 p.m. in the 10500 block of Dorothy Avenue, according to Deputy Tony Moore of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene, Moore said. A second man was taken to a hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
