LOS ANGELES – Just because we haven’t talked much lately about the NFL possibly moving to Los Angeles, that doesn’t mean commissioner Roger Goodell has forgotten about it. That’s evident by what we see here in this L.A. Times report about a memo sent out by Goodell for franchises who possibly are considering making the move west (or, in the Chargers case, north).
“Although substantial uncertainties remain,” Goodell wrote in the two-page document that was sent to all 32 teams, “stadium development in Los Angeles has advanced to the point where the prospects for a new facility are better than they have been in many years.”
