Pedestrian Critically Injured, 2 Motorists Hurt In Chinatown Crash

LOS ANGELES (CBS) —  A male pedestrian was critically injured and two motorists were hurt in a crash near a bus stop in Chinatown Thursday evening.

The accident was reported at 7:36 p.m. at 800 N. Alameda St., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

“There was a collision involving two or more vehicles,” Humphrey said.

“At least one vehicle continued on to strike a man near a bus stop.”

The pedestrian was taken to County-USC Medical Center in critical condition. The two motorists sustained minor injuries, Humphrey said.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
