HESPERIA (CBS) — Officials said two people were discovered Thursday floating in the California Aqueduct in Hesperia.

The victims were found around noon in the aqueduct near Main Street and Maple Avenue, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials said.

The Victorville Daily Press is reporting that one of the victims is a child.

Both victims have been pulled from the water.

No additional details were released.
