SAN FERNANDO (CBS) — A person was fatally hit by a Metrolink train Monday morning.
The accident happened just after 8 a.m. at the Brand Boulevard crossing in San Fernando, according to Metrolink officials.
Train services were temporarily delayed and passengers were being bused around the closed section of the track, Metrolink’s Sherita Coffelt said.
The train was en route from Los Angeles to the Antelope Valley when the person was hit. Train services in the Antelope Valley have been suspended until further notice.
