Team USA Will Travel To Azteca To Face Mexico On August 15th

LOS ANGELES (CBS) FIFA has announced that the United States will travel to Mexico City for a friendly match against ‘El-Tri.’

The two rivals will face off at the historical stadium, Estadio Azteca, on August 15th at 5:00P.M.

Mexico and the U.S. have battled each other 60 times since May 24th, 1934. Out of all the matchups, 43 have been official and 17 been friendlies.

The U.S. has won 15 and 12 ties against Mexico.

The last time these two teams played against each other was in Philadelphia where they tied 1-1.

Mexico is coming off a win from a World Cup qualifier match against El Salvador, while U.S. tied Guatemala 1-1.

The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN and Univision Channel  34.
