NEW YORK (CBS) Baseball fans have voted on whom they’d like to see compete for the 2012 Home Run derby in Kansas City and clearly want to see a head-to-head match-up with Matt Kemp and Josh Hamilton.
Kemp, who leads the National League All-Star ballot, leads the NL, while Josh Hamilton, who has 22 home runs in the year, leads the AL.
Kemp is still questionable in participating in any All-Star festivities as he’s been sidelined with a groin injury since May 13th.
Kemp and defending champ Robinson Cano are the team captains and will have the final say for the Derby.
