LOS ANGELES (AP) — Police say a 66-year-old man is dead after being struck by two hit-and-run drivers in South Los Angeles.
In a Thursday release, LA police say the pedestrian was struck by the first vehicle, a silver Pontiac Grand Am, at about 1:50 a.m. on Sunday.
The driver left the injured pedestrian on Central Avenue.
Moments later, a green Chevrolet Suburban ran over the victim while he was still lying in the street.
The victim was dragged nearly 200 feet under the Suburban.
Police say both incidents were captured on surveillance video.
Police are looking for the vehicle’s drivers. No arrests have been made.
