Ramon Sessions Declines Option With Lakers
(CBS) -- The Lakers appear to be in the market for a point guard once again after Ramon Sessions declined a $4.55 million option to remain in Los Angeles next season.
Sessions averaged almost 10 points a game in the playoffs and almost 14 points per game during the regular season with the Lakers after being acquired at the trade deadline.
Sessions could still sign with the Lakers, but he is free to sign with any NBA team.
Steve Blake is the only point guard under contract for next season on the Lakers' roster.
