Celebrate Langer's Deli 65th Anniversary With Free Sandwiches!

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Happy anniversary to Langer's Deli!

Langer's is celebrating 65 years in business! Norm Langer visited the KCAL9 studios Tuesday to show off some of their signature sandwiches.

Langer's Deli, conveniently close to the Metro Rail Westlake/MacArthur Park Station, will give away free pastrami sandwiches on June 15 and 16 to celebrate its 65th anniversary. The family-owned eatery also is offering Metro riders an exclusive way to participate in the festivities. Those who go Metro to Langer's Deli on Saturday, June 16 will get the chance to enter hourly drawings for $100 gift certificates to the delicatessen.

To be entered in a drawing, just find a seat at Langer's on Saturday and show your valid Metro pass or Metro Rail ticket. Drawings will start at 9 a.m. and continue every hour until 9 p.m. for 13 winners total. While waiting for winners to be announced, enjoy a free sandwich.

On both Friday and Saturday, anyone who can find a seat in Langer's will be offered a free #19 sandwich - Langer's famous pastrami sandwich. To get the free sandwich, you must be seated inside the restaurant. Langer's Deli will be open on Friday, June 15 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, June 16 from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Don't miss the celebration! With the new Metro Expo Line open, there are more ways than ever to reach Langer's. Langer's is just steps from the Red and Purple Line Westlake/MacArthur Park Station. Transfer from Metro Expo Line to Metro Red or Purple Line at 7th/Metro Station. The Metro Blue Line also connects at that station. Then it's just one short stop to Langer's Deli!
