PASADENA (CBS) — A 58-year-old man who was hiking with his family at Eaton Canyon in Pasadena had to be transported to an area hospital after falling off the trail.
Lisa Derderian of the Pasadena Fire Department says it took rescuers 45 minutes to locate the patient, “who was tucked away in a ravine.”
The victim, who was conscious and breathing, was airlifted to Huntington Memorial Hospital. He was reportedly in critical condition.
The fire department was notified of the fall about 10:40 a.m., Derderian added.
No other information was immediately available.
