Man Armed With Large Hunting Knife Wanted For Loma Linda Robbery
LOMA LINDA (CBS) — The public's help is needed to track down a suspect who robbed a Chevron gas station with a large hunting knife.
San Bernardino Sheriff's Department officials say a Chevron gas station at 25690 Mountain View Ave. was robbed Thursday just before 9:30 p.m.
The suspect, who wore a hospital mask, was armed with a large, black hunting knife. He ordered the clerk to hand over the money, deputies said.
The clerk gave the suspect money from both cash registers, and the robber ran from the scene.
The suspect was described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old, light colored hair, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 and between 150 and 180 pounds. The robber wore a tan plaid jacket, blue pants black sunglasses and a black beanie.
