Sanchez, Norwood Will Be Tried In Beating Of Bryan Stow

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A judge Friday ordered two men to stand trial in the beating of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow.

Marvin Norwood, 30, and Louis Sanchez, 29, are accused of beating Stow in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium following last year's season opener.

In court Thursday, a witness identified Sanchez as the man who allegedly beat Stow and said Norwood was also present during the attack on March 31, 2011.

Doreen Sanchez, who is Sanchez's sister and Norwood's fiancée, also testified that she drove the men away from the stadium after the attack.

She has been promised immunity for her testimony and is expected back on the stand Friday.

Stow was moved to a rehabilitation apartment, where he is getting help to live independently, three months ago.

His family says he is still dealing with many recovery issues, though. Recently, he was not able to recall a surprise birthday party in his honor, just one day after the event.
