LOS ANGELES (CBS) The Los Angeles Times reports that Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw is suffering from plantar fasciitis on his left foot that could possibly send him to the disabled list.

Plantar fasciitis is inflammation of tissue that connects from heel to toes on the bottom of his foot.

Kershaw has been getting treatment on his foot about a week now, but on Monday night it got worse as he took a bad step heading to first base on a game against the Phillies.

Kershaw has given up 10 earned runs in his last 3 starts, but still has an ERA of 2.55.
