1-Year-Old Boy, Father Badly Injured In Shooting Near Watts
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A 1-year-old boy is fighting for his life and his father is in serious condition after they were shot near Watts Monday night.
A teen boy riding a bicycle opened fire as the 24-year-old father as he stood holding the baby on the sidwalk at 7:49 p.m. in the 10500 block of Hickory Street, LAPD Officer Karen Rayner said.
Both victims were transported to a hospital. The boy was listed in "very critical condition", Rayner said.
Police were reportedly looking for the boy on the bike, who was described as being 15-17 years old.

Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call the LAPD.
