Man Suspected In Deadly Attack In North Hollywood Remains At Large

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — Authorities are searching for a man suspected in an attack that left one person dead and another injured in North Hollywood.

The incident happened about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 12900 block of Vanowen Street.

Police say the suspect, identified as 21-year-old Manuel Garcia, reportedly got into a fight with his male roommate who he allegedly stabbed multiple times, killing him.

The second victim, identified as the Garcia's girlfriend, was also injured. The extent of her injuries were not immediately released.

Police say Garcia fled the location on foot.

Garcia is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, according to police.
