Cal State Fullerton Approves Campus-Wide Smoking Ban
FULLERTON (CBS) — Smoking has been banned at Cal State Fullerton.
Fullerton is the first school in the State University System to institute a campus-wide ban.
Interim president Willie J. Hagan approved the proposal, which goes into effect in August of 2013.
The school is also banning the sales of tobacco products.
The campus-wide smoking ban comes 10 years after the university banned smoking on most of the campus, except in parking lots and vehicles.
