Aquarium Of The Pacific To Open New Penguin Exhibit
LONG BEACH (CBS) — CBS2 is getting a sneak peak of the new penguin exhibit at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.
The $1.5 million June Keyes Penguin Habitat will feature Magellanic penguins, some of which were rescued from Brazil where they were stranded outside their native habitat.
The penguins will join the Aquarium's collection of more than 11,000 animals in the institution's fifty exhibits.
The permanent exhibit opens to the public Thursday, May 17, at 9 a.m.
