Tommy Bahama’s Harvest Burger is seriously that good. As in, the best. A messy, mouthwatering, one-of-a-kind all-original Veggie Burger, overflowing with all the right stuff. And trust me, I know a good veggie burger.
I’m a 20-year Vegetarian, so I’m always on the lookout for the best burger out there. Native Foods’ Scorpion Burger was a former fave, but Tommy Bahama’s bests that. And most of the others are just some lame frozen Gardenburger variety.
The Tommy Bahama Harvest Burger is a two-fisted serious foodie burger; the from-scratch factor makes it nearly fall apart if you’re not careful—but when it tastes so good, who cares? The burger comes with Toasted Brioche, Garlic Aioli, Pepperjack, Watercress, and Cucumber.
The secret of its original patty is a concoction of brown rice, black beans, roasted red peppers, flax seed, corn, cracker meal, green onions, dried mustard, cumin, paprika and chili powder.
Add to all that enjoying it in the chill atmosphere of Tommy Bahama’s, and this burger is even more worthy of the title. Pairing it with a cool tropical martini is also highly recommended.
The burger is just $13, a martini is about $10 and their sinful Banana Cream Pie, if you dare, (it’s “get-out!” good) is $9. So about $35 gets you a total Veggie Burger with a side of paradise. Take that, carnivores.
The Veggie Harvest Burger is available at Tommy Bahama Laguna Beach, Tommy Bahama Island Grille Newport Beach and Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar in Palm Desert.
