LOS ANGELES (CBS) – The mask Kobe Bryant wore during his 29,000th career point against the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 9 was sold on eBay for an astonishing $67,100.

Bryant wore the protective mask for 11 games after Miami guard Dwyane Wade broke his nose during the All-Star Game in Orlando on February 26.

The money made from the auction will go to benefit the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation’s Youth Homelessness Initiative.

The auction went for 7 days and ended on Tuesday, March 9th 2012 at 4P.M. PST.
