Sex Offender Nabbed For Allegedly Groping Girl, 14, In Ontario

ONTARIO (CBS) — A registered sex offender was in custody Friday for allegedly groping a 14-year-old girl.

Albert Meza, 23, has been charged with sexual battery and molesting a child under the age of 18.

Authorities say Meza confronted the victim at Sultana Avenue and Acacia Street as she was walking to De Anza Middle School.

She says Meza hugged and groped her when she tried to walk away from him.

Meza, who is currently on probation for a similar incident in Los Angeles County, is being held on $50,000 bail.
