Woman Rescued After Car Plunges Over Simi Valley Cliff

SIMI VALLEY (CBS) — A woman battled cold temperatures overnight Tuesday after her car plunged over a cliff in Simi Valley.

The Ventura County Fire Department received a call from the motorist early Wednesday morning about a vehicle that was about 50 feet down the side of a cliff near Santa Susana Pass and Box Canyon roads, officials said.

The female driver was rescued by firefighters around 7 a.m., officials said.

The woman was taken to Simi Valley Hospital with moderate injuries.
