STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The “May Gray” continues today. I’m a poet… and I don’t even know it.
The marine layer will run between 3,500 feet and 4,000 feet Wednesday. We will still battle localized drizzle in our foothill communities and some coastal spots.
We may get a better burn-off today, with slightly warmer temperatures. With this strong westerly flow, look for gusty winds in the Antelope Valley.
Temperatures will gradually pop up a bit as we head into Friday, but they will still be below average for this time of year.
By the weekend, another trough moves in to cool us back down. In fact, the entire extended forecast will be a battle with the marine layer. With a little less of it, our temps warm up. A little more of it and we will cool down. This is pretty typical of the transition time from spring to summer.
