GLENDALE (CBS) — A motorcyclist was killed Sunday when he crashed on the Ventura (134) Freeway at the Golden State (5) Freeway interchange, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported to the CHP at 9:03 a.m. in Glendale.
The motorcyclist hit a railing before coming to a rest on the right shoulder of the freeway, according to CHP reports.
A SigAlert was issued at 9:31 a.m., as the right lane of the westbound 134 Freeway was closed. The transition ramp from north 5 to west 134 was also closed.
The investigatioin concluded and all lanes were reopened just before noon, the CHP reported.
