Mission Viejo Native Wanted As Suspect In Las Vegas Double Homicide

LAS VEGAS  (AP) — North Las Vegas police have identified a suspect in a shooting that left two men dead and two women critically injured.

Police are searching for 22-year-old Jose Gonzales, who was previously only known as "Smokey."

Investigators say he's a Mission Viejo, Calif., native and convicted felon who has been living in Las Vegas for several years. He's considered armed and dangerous.

Police say 31-year-old Ivonne Cabrera was arrested Friday on suspicion of murder in the case.

Police say the shooting occurred after she and Gonzales entered a North Las Vegas duplex about 6 a.m. Thursday. The relationship between the suspects and victims is not clear.

The victims range in age from 24 to 27, and at least some are North Las Vegas residents. Their names haven't been released.
