NEWPORT BEACH (CBS) — A woman has reportedly lost a wedding ring valued at more than $55,000 at a Trader Joe’s market in Newport Coast.

The customer reported leaving the ring in a small purse in a shopping cart at the store on East Coast Highway Monday afternoon, The Orange County Register reported.

According to the newspaper, the woman returned to the store later that day but was unable to find the purse or ring, despite a store-wide search.

The woman subsequently filed a lost-property report.

A store employee told the newspaper that the ring had not been found as of Friday night.
