Celebrate Summer With A Gladstone's Clambake!

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Nothing says summer like a good ol' fashioned clambake!

Gladstone's Malibu General Manager Tony Sher and Chef Dean Grill visited the KCAL9 studios Tuesday to give viewers tips on hosting a clambake of their own.

Gladstone's held their first ever Clambake on the Beach last weekend and they hope to make it a yearly tradition.

A clambake is a feast of steamed seafood incorporating clams and various shellfish, traditionally prepared in a stone pit on the beach, but just as easily prepared at home in a large pot in your kitchen. They're the perfect meal to share with friends at a summer picnic or Memorial Day party and can be scaled to accommodate any number of people.

The bakes usually include clams, lobster, crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn on the cob. And of course, some crispy sourdough rolls to soak up the juices at the bottom!

If you'd like to enjoy a delicious Clambake without having to cook one yourself, the newly renovated Gladstones menu offers Clambakes all year round at market price. We're also throwing all you can eat Clambake parties the first Sunday of every month throughout the summer on our private beach, complete with cocktail service and daybed rental [Price TBD]. Gladstones is located right on the sand at the intersection of Sunset Blvd and Pacific Coast Highway.
