Kobe To Sit 4th Straight Game With Bruised Shin

LOS ANGELES (CBS) --After Friday mornings shoot around in Denver, Mike Brown announced that Kobe Bryant will miss his 4th straight game because of an inflamed shin.

Bryant has been out since April 6th, missing three games, in which the Lakers are 2-1.

Head trainer Gary Vitti said the injury occurred on March 31st against the New Orleans Hornets.

With six games left in the season, Bryant is ahead of Kevin Durant for the scoring lead in the NBA, averaging 28.1 ppg and the Lakers have a one game lead over the Clippers in the Pacific Division.
