PASADENA (CBS) — A big rig crashed Wednesday on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena, blocking three lanes during the morning commute.

The accident was reported about 4:30 a.m. at Sierra Madre Villa Avenue, said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos.

The FedEx truck was hauling two trailers, and the second trailer overturned, Villalobos said. Both trailers were empty.

Authorities closed the carpool lane, and the numbers one and two lanes while crews worked to clear the scene. The closure was continuing more than two hours later.

No one was injured in the incident.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
