SAN ANTONIO (CBS) — The Los Angeles Lakers will be without Kobe Bryant for the third consecutive game on Wednesday night in San Antonio as Bryant rests his sore shin.

Lakers coach Mike Brown made the announcement following the team’s Tuesday practice.

Bryant, 33, is averaging an NBA-best 28.1 points this season. Devin Ebanks started in his place against New Orleans.
