Police: Burglary Suspects Found In Garage After Glendale Pursuit

GLENDALE (CBS) — Police on Tuesday were looking for the last remaining suspect in a quartet of men believed to be behind a string of residential burglaries in and around Glendale.

KNX 1070's Claudia Peschiutta reports police now have three of four possible burglary suspects in custody after they were found in a garage on Cosmic Way.

Officers first observed the suspects leaving a house on the 1200 block of North Everett and initiated a pursuit after they drove off in a light colored Lexus.

The suspects eventually led police on a foot chase and ended up in front of the KABC-7 studios near Cosmic Way and Paula Avenue.

Both ABC and the Disney Studios lot had placed themselves on a limited lockdown, police said.

"We have our airship overhead that has the entire area locked down, which enables us to keep them from continuing to run from yard to yard, so we've got them locked down pretty good," said Sgt. Tom Lorenz.

Police have increased the number of patrols in the area after a rash of residential burglaries over the past few weeks.
