Suspect Dressed As DWP Worker Sought In Valley Home Burglary

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police on Friday alerted residents in the San Fernando Valley about a distraction burglary suspect who may be posing as a Department of Water & Power employee.

A man dressed in a tan jacket, pants and boots with a tan hat that read “LADWP” and an earpiece in his right ear approached the victim and directed her to the backyard of her residence, according to the LAPD Topanga Division.
