Josh Rubenstein, Rich Fields Kick Off Earth Month At The Americana At Brand

GLENDALE (CBS) — CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist Josh Rubenstein and KCAL 9 Meteorologist Rich Fields will usher in Earth Month with a big celebration at the Americana at Brand in Glendale Friday.

Environmental artist Wyland will be on hand to help celebrate Earth Month with crafts, eco-mural painting and a live broadcast from The WAVE radio.

The party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. will be at the Americana at Brand, 889 Americana Way, in Glendale. Events will include a presentation from the US EPA Office of water, local mayors, remarks from Earth Month Hero nominees and water-saving tips for the home.

Anthropologie will be on hand to help attendees create a coral reef, and the LA Police Emerald Society bagpipe and drum corps will perform.

The event is free and open to the public.
