LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Mega Millions jackpot has soared to a whopping $363 million for Tuesday night’s drawing.

No one matched all six winning numbers – 6, 17, 19, 20, 21, and Mega number 20 – in Friday’s drawing.

Seven tickets sold in California matched five of the six numbers, including tickets worth $259,382 purchased in Commerce and Montebello.

Jesus Vasquez, the manager of Bluebird Liquor in Hawthorne, told CBS2’s Joy Benedict that his store sold more than 80,000 tickets Monday.

“This is the best in the west,” Vasquez said of Bluebird, which has had six customers win more than $1 million over the years.

“I see already five big winners, plus a lot of small winners,” he added. “Tonight, it is the day.”

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number are 1 in 175,711,536.

The lottery is not a plan it is a dream. Instead of bringing hope to ourselves individually we should work at bringing hope to everyone. The world would be a better if we all worked together. Check out all the benefits a united earth would bring. http://chengx-ue.blogspot.com/ It is so simple it might work.

With that kind of money, I would be able to help a lot of people. The sad truth is that chances are not in my favor. I would set up charities all over the country over a period of time, because I would not need it all. Never have seen the economy and people in such trouble. God bless whomever wins.

The odds are the same no matter where you buy the tickets. The reason Bluebird liquor has more winners is because they sell more lotto tickets. Just common sense tells you that. So many idiots travel long distances just to buy a lotto ticket at Bluebird when they will have the same chance of winning if they bought it in their own town.
