Bobby Brown Arrested For Alleged DUI In Reseda
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Singer Bobby Brown was arrested Monday after failing a field sobriety test in Reseda.
Brown, 43, was pulled over at Victory and Wilbur in Reseda at 12:20 p.m. for allegedly driving while talking on a cell phone, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The officers who pulled Brown over had him do a field sobriety test, which he failed. Brown was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, officials said.
The New Edition singer is the former husband of the late Whitney Houston. During their 14-year marriage, they both were arrested individually -- Houston once, for possession of marijuana, and Brown, for testing positive for cocaine while on probation for a DUI conviction in 1996.
Brown was released at 2 p.m., officials said.
