Robbery Suspect Dies In Pasadena Officer-Involved Shooting
PASADENA (CBS) — An investigation is under way Sunday after two officers shot and killed a robbery suspect in Pasadena.
Pasadena police responded to an armed robbery call at Summit Avenue and Orange Grove Boulevard just after 11 p.m. Saturday.
Police say they gave chase before seeing the suspect reach into his waistband. That's when officers say they shot him.
The suspect was taken to a hospital, where he died.
No weapon was found, according to the Pasadena Star-News.
Police also arrested a second suspect identified only as a 17-year-old male.
